[A wonderfully cheerful and deep voice booms over the crystals. Many have already heard this voice and know it to be attached to a giant red headed Rifter who always seems to be filled with joy. And for those who don't know him, well, they're about to.]

My friends of the Inquisition! It is I, Iskandar! Many of you have come to know me during my months here and for those who haven't I am eager to get to know you. As of this day I have taken the title of Head of the Forces Division.

[He sure does let out a hearty laugh as he lets that sink in.]

I greatly look forward to working with all of you in my Division as well as those of others. Should any of you have questions please do present them. I am sure that you will have many for I am not only a King but I am also a Rifter. Among other things. [Another laugh.]

My friends among the Forces. Once I have matters organized I may throw us a celebration of this new role of mine so I can meet you all face to face. Until then do stop by my office! I always look forward to the company.

Congratulations señor, I am Araceli Bonaventura y Castell. I report to diplomacy personally but the project I lead, naval forces, reports to the head of forces. If you have any questions please feel free to ask; by day I'm either in the Gallows working or I can be reached by sending crystal, the project secretary señorita Ness is always able to assist even if just to tell you where I might be.

What a beautiful name! I have worked with you before actually when we went together for the nuggalopes! I was the giant man with the flaming hair. It will be a pleasure to work with you and to see what you have done with the naval forces.

My memory of that time is regrettably poor, I was recovering from injuries sustained on a previous mission. [A polite way to refer to being kidnapped by Venatori, forcibly given lyrium and everything that followed on from that but when so many can hear she won't call it an incident.

Not to someone in charge of her either.]

If you wish, there are a small group I have come to know as good sources for information to the Inquisition or who work as our runners. Being around sailors and docks and their people is very familiar to me, it made sense to ensure we had people we could look to who knew Kirkwall better than I.

Wonderful! That will work out well for us. When there is opportunity I would like to meet these people.

Some advice, if I may señor?

Of course! I am open to the words of others.

Moreso than when any of us lived in Skyhold, we live amongst the people of Thedas now. With many who do not see us as their friends, or their allies, or even a thing that can be trusted. There are some who likely see us as invading hostile force. Though I have long considered myself Inquisition first, rifter second, that is the first thing that is seen and something that all of us so marked can be grouped by.

[A pause to take a breath since this isn't the sort of conversation she envisaged having with the new head of the division but she can't let it go unsaid.]

To announce yourself, a rifter, as a king so openly is not an advisable course of action. Not when you are the leader of the forces. It sets a tone and as a member of diplomacy and someone who knows the councils of captains, it would be remiss of me not to bring this to your attention swiftly.

Mm. Though I see see where you come from I also believe in being very open about who and what I am. Far better to have all my actions looked upon than for someone to be surprised and look upon all past actions. Besides, it sets the tone of my leadership. One of openness and honesty. What you see and hear from me is exactly what is meant.

I am Iskandar, a King and a Rifter. I have ruled over many lands and won many battles. Let people see a Rifter doing great good for the people here as one of them rather than as an invasion. Even with my new status as Head of Forces, I will not stop announcing who I am or what my desires are.

Let Alexander the Great be someone to help aid the people here!

It is my understanding that it was the Arishok the people of Kirkwall lost their Viscount to, the leader of the military body of the Qunari.

[It sets a tone but the message...she is rather less than convinced.]

What they will make of this, remains to be seen. I will see the reports sent to you señor as and when they come in, good day.

[Huh. She's a funny one. He's not entirely sure what the problem is honestly.]

It is my understanding that the Qunari also made it clear they intended to invade. That is a difference. If anything it is the Inquisition and not the Rifters who could be seen as the bigger problem but we have shown otherwise. Just as I will with my leadership.

But if you have a problem with the way I lead then you are always welcome to say so. I welcome all opinions from those around me whether I agree with them or not. Just be warned that I reserve the right to state my own opinion in return as I have now. It is these differences in ideals that will help us to flourish, after all.

[A soft laugh.]

So I suppose you can dislike me as your tone might suggest. However, I will not change who I am to please others. It would be dishonest and show a lack of faith that there is hope for acceptance in this world. Good day to you, Araceli. I look forward to reading your reports.
