Before accusations of theft or pranks are made, please understand that this was not planned, nor is it malicious. It is a crime of convenience, and it will be rectified the moment I am able to return to your office.

You will find missing, 1 undershirt, 1 pair of breeches (that seem to need their hems shored up, which will be done before they are returned), and 1 piece of paper, used to write this note. If you wish it replaced, it will be done.

Please watch your step, as there are currently 24 stuffed toys in various patterns in a pile resting on the floor beside your desk. They are to be used later on. They will be retrieved at earliest convenience.
