[Solas takes his hand very gently, raising his other to hover above it.]

This, hopefully should make it hurt less, and allow you access to its magic if you require it.

[His hand glowed - gently a first, a pale green, and then the glow spread and brightened, until a great green glow beamed from it. Then, as quickly as it had begun, it faded - and he released Sam's hand.]
