Good evening, Inquisition. I require a guide for the Elven quarter of Halamshiral. I seek someone who was familiar enough with the area before the fires that they would have an idea of locations even now. I am offering three crowns and lunch for the service.

I'm afraid not all of the elves here have taken kindly to our presence here. Some see it as nothing more than an opportunity to rob us of the supplies we'd have given freely anyway.

It is good that I am not burdened with supplies or valuables.

If I may ask- these thefts. Are they organized, or are they more to the tune of pickpocketing in back alleys?

From what I've seen and heard, it's more the latter. I know I should be grateful that it doesn't seem organised, but in a way it's worse, that so many see thievery as their only option, and us as targets rather than aid.

I would gladly give of all I have would it help. But with the war, and everything as it is, any good that might do could be undone quickly.

I'm not sure what the best approach would be. I don't want to come down hard on them, as they will trust the Inquisition even less.

Eliminate the need for aid. But that would require more coin and kindness, which seem to be in short supply, and shorter still as the attacks continue.

To ask patience of them is absurd, though it is what I would like to do. What seems like a short time for me is enough time for another elfling to starve. It is... difficult.

If you think of a more elegant solution, please contact me. Over the crystals, in person, for I am at a loss.
