Thought it might be time for an introduction. Not because it's important, really, just that it'd be rude to ask for help without one. Anyway, name's Amèlie. ( And that seems to be all the information she deems necessary to divulge, because onwards she barrels. )

Guess I'm looking for Circle mages, or anyone who's lived in a Circle, really, just to... talk. I guess. ( The next part comes out as a rush as she does her best to reduce her discomfort. ) You could say that I'm a bit homesick or whatever.

Additionally, I've been helping out at the healing tents a bit, but if anyone has some coppers they can spare for odd jobs done, then I'm your woman. Before you ask me for anything too mage-y, I should probably warn you that I'm much better at farming than magic.

But the magic helps in a pinch.

My affiliation is with the Grey Wardens now, but I used to be a member of Kinloch Hold, in Ferelden. Which Circle are you from?

Hamsal. ( A beat. ) I must admit that I don't know much about Ferelden. Other than it's damn cold in these mountains.

That it is, I don't deny it. But I saw little of harsh weather until I left.

[She sighs.]

There are some things I miss. The enormous library, with stacks that seemed to stretch upward practically to the ceiling. Skyhold has libraries, but it's not quite the same.

Oh. ( She exhales; a little sigh. ) I never spent much time in the library.

( She was already eleven by the time she was brought to the Circle, and she was never a book-smarts kind of girl. )

[As much as it's difficult for Inessa to comprehend not taking advantage of Circle libraries, she won't be rude about it.]

Where did your spend your time in the Circle?

[Sadira knows that feeling very well missing home and friends she might never see again. She spent the last year and some change feeling that way.]

Well met Amèlie. I'm Sadira, formerly of Ostwick's Circle of Magi. What is it that you wanted to talk about?

( Perhaps she hadn't thought that far ahead. )

I. ( don't know, she wants to say, but she lets the words die on her lips. ) Do you miss it?

I absolutely do. Life was easier in a circle. The world felt a lot less complicated too.

Hah! Isn't that the truth. ( Wistfully, she adds: ) I wish I'd stayed.

I wasn't aware we had a choice in the end.

[She would never have chosen the path of rebellion herself.]

What circle were you a part of?

I am not a circle mage, but I know Gardening. It is in some regards like farming. Both tend the land to fruition.

Yeah, if you think about it that way. Do you do much gardening here?

I recently arrived so I have not done much for Skyhold yet. What sort of farm was it you lived on?

It wasn't much. Just me and my Pa, most of the time. ( It still hurts to think about, and it makes her speech sloppy. She does her best to focus on something else. ) We had goats, and chickens, and the best carrots I've tasted anywhere.

( It was strange, the things that had stuck with her. )

When did you get here?

[It's hard to miss something she never had, even so, there is a hint of envy in her voice.]

It sounds like you had a life to be proud of. as for myself, I arrived recently.

I was with a circle. The one in Ferelden, Kinloch Hold.

Seems that way. I keep to myself most of the time, so I can't claim to be all that up on who's around.

Amelie - I believe I've seen you around the tents. I'm the spirit healer that isn't much for robes.

Name's Samouel. I'm from the Circle in Ostwick. [Though his accent doesn't match the region, sounding like one from the south.]

I don't have any jobs that include farming... but there are some odd jobs in the armory, could use an extra hand there.

Samouel... ( She thinks she knows who he is, but doesn't want to potentially embarrass herself by asking for further clarification. ) I'll try and remember that for next time.

What needs doing in the armoury?

[Wouldn't bother him any if she needed it, but he's already introduced himself and she knows potentially where he is.]

Guess it depends on what you're comfortable with. For the most part it would be sweeping and some cleaning.

I suppose it would depend on how often you come in and how dirty it gets. We could probably start you off with one to three gold per session?
