( the voice that comes across the crystals is a woman’s, nevarran accented, likely familiar to some— maybe some more than others. she’d joined riftwatch in nevarra, following them back to kirkwall from the necropolis alongside professor volkarin; presently, she’s set herself up in the thaig, which is where she’s reaching out to the crystals from,

though it’s not only her voice audible. there’s a slightly muffled cacophony of hideous grinding sounds in the background as she opens, )

So, is someone missing an incredibly mobile teapot.

Much better than gold, as souvenirs go, [ though admittedly the gold is not the first thing that comes to mind for him from nevarra. he's still wary of all those spirits wandering around in skeletons—the professor said they're not bound, but as not-a-mage, he can't know for certain. the idea of a whole necropolis of bound spirits sits ill with him. ]

Talin. It sounds like you have your shemlen in hand, but if you'd like help, I'm always happy to assist.

I'd have been a touch concerned if you were trying to fit a nuggalope through an eluvian, [ call that elvhen nonsense, matter of fact, ] but perhaps if it were an infant...

( her familiarity was more academic when she was first studying the remnants of elvhen; now, it’s been a long time since she was surprised to bump into the dalish. )

I was raised in the Necropolis, myself. No place for a war nug, either, although I won’t say I can’t think of anything you could do with one there.

( wow it’s such a mystery why the mourn watch leadership don’t want her around. )

Probably nothing the humans would thank you for, [ what's that phrase, a nuggalope in a necropolis, bull in a porcelain shop, ] but I might like to see it.
