The mages here use bigger staffs, as a form of arcane focus, so I suppose you can call the wand the same.

[ A beat. ] It's limited, here. I think maybe it's the fact that Thedas is new, or maybe the Fade is stronger than whatever magic I use.

Or it could be how this world is different to the ones you and I are used to. Not every universe is made of the same… stuff.

[ If she were a scientist, perhaps Wanda would use the word frequency. What she's learned from the Darkhold and touching pieces of the Multiverse is that everything feels a little different. ]

It's like how a size small pair of pants is different depending on the brand. Thedas is a different brand.
