So it's about a month or so til Satinalia, [ says a woman's voice, accent mostly Nevarran with just a hint of Ander to keep it sounding common, if you've got an ear for that sort of thing. She does not sound like the sort of person who starts decorating for Satinalia in August. ] and I started thinking, 'I wonder what shit the Venatori are going to ruin the party with this year?'

And then I thought—maybe this year we get the jump on them and we go ruin their party instead.

What d'you think, Riftwatch? Anybody up for getting some revenge? Maybe set a bunch of undead red lyrium bees loose in some swanky magisters' ball or something like that? I'm open to ideas.

You can't ever tell me too many times. Believe it or not nobody in the Exalted March seemed to feel that way, so I've got a real deficit to make up for now I'm back.

Blood lotus pollen—we could mix it in with confetti or put it around the rims of their drink glasses. It might cause some chaos on its own, but mostly it would make any other problem we caused them feel much bigger.

As a side benefit, blood lotus leaves you hideously backed up for a few days.

That's a good one. We wouldn't even need to make the wasps big or able to explode into other wasps, they'd just imagine them that way on their own!

Since it is Satinalia, maybe some silk-spinning spiders instead? Or big silk worms - if we have those? I seem to recall that satin can be made out of silk, that's my reasoning.
