RECIPIENT: Members of the Inquisition
WHAT: Invitation to knock each other's blocks off.

Nailed to the board is a message written in a clear hand, crisp lettering, precision spacing.

All members of the Inquisition are hereby invited to a traditional sparring event for the resolution of issues great and small. All are welcome; none are obligated to attend. Challengers are invited to call out the competitor of their choice. The challenged have the right of refusal, and of choosing the method of combat.

The rules are as follows:

1. No magic.
2. A volunteer healer will determine whether someone is fit for a bout.
3. Conduct the fight honorably. If someone surrenders the fight, it ends immediately and without question.
4. Don't deliberately incapacitate someone to the point where they won't be able to perform their duties after the fight is over.
5. All weapons must be blunt, even blades.
6. Challenged chooses the method of competition.

At the end of the fight, participants are to consider their issue resolved and move forward.

The ring has been set up outside the Warden's encampment. Combat will continue until day's end or all are spent.

At the bottom, there is an official looking stamp indicating that this has crossed Commander Rutherford's desk and been approved.
