( presuming he does, eventually, find it: it is a very tidily appointed office — divided into two halves with two desks, one clearly unused although petrana has still not encroached into that unused space. it's mostly impersonal, bookshelves occupied with linguistics, cultural tomes, the odd book on local magic (enchantments, mainly) or history (military, mainly); on one shelf there is a pretty white and blue tea set next to a tobacco pouch.
