I trust that none of you require my voice to remind you that we have ample work ahead of us. Even as we speak, an expedition to return to Ghislain and turn over every stone in Dumat's shrine is being organized and outfitted.

Which is more or less exactly what the Venatori will expect. They know that place has fallen into our allies' control and that it's only a matter of time before whatever intelligence remains there is discovered. I guarantee that whatever sense of urgency we may be feeling at this moment, Minrathous has felt twice over and for six months longer.

In light of this, and given both the... conflicting nature of our recent visitation and the spate of additions to our ranks, I would take this moment to invite anyone with information they believe significant to the work before us to speak their minds on the subject—be they details gleaned while abroad or [in a shared Fade-touched nightmare] otherwise. This company is varied. If we make those disparities work for us now, we can not only make up for lost time but do so in a manner which our enemy will least anticipate.

Let us assume the "gates" are legitimate and that the Venatori presence in Ghislain isn't without relation to the rift there. Were I compelled to speculate where another might be, I might suggest a study of anywhere that their influence has historically been similarly consolidated. Nevarra City, perhaps. The Anderfels. Where else?

Something in a letter from a friend, or found in an enemy's pockets or overheard in a tavern six months ago which now how you wondering. Surely you know how gossip operates.

Found some letters in Ghislain from someone named Volaris that implied they were monitoring communities close to rifts, most that we'd recently closed. Sounded like they were hoping for people who'd caught a shard. I gave them over, should be in a file somewhere.
