It's Pel of Clan Ashara again. I need everybody's help.

The Inquisition is researching Veilfire runes, an ancient elven method of communication. I'm their researcher in this matter. There were some of these runes in the Fallow Mire--not elven in origin, unfortunately, but the technique was. I know there are other runes across Thedas, but I don't know where, and any books about them have been banned by the Chantry.

Now I know Tevinter has written about the runes, though not very much. Those are the books I need. If any of you have any contacts who might procure them for me, I'll be in your debt.

As for the Dalish among you, I need to know if your clans have seen any of the runes, and how best to contact your Keepers to ask for their help. I'll need any information about the whereabouts of these runes, and any translations your Keepers might have. I need to know which might be willing to send me copies of the ancient texts in their possession, or send me the texts so I can make copies. I need to...I need to compile everything I can if I'm to make heads or tails of any of this. And it would be a good practice anyway. Maybe all the bits and pieces of our history that we have will make more sense when they're put together.

Sina, I'm going to need you to go through all the information with me when it starts trickling in. You too, Salem.

This could be the only chance elves ever have at this. These runes could unlock some of our history and heritage. Let's make it count.
