Right, I need to get ahold of books that are banned by the Chantry. Considering who the lot of you are and how Kirkwall is, I assume there has to be at least one person around here who knows something about smuggling. My contacts aren't very enthusiastic about the topic and what I have access to presently isn't particularly helpful with regards to places like these Crossroads. Reckon Tevinter scholars would've had more leeway in studying shit like that at least.

I don't suppose we would be lucky enough to find one or two about old Elven Thaigs or whatever you call old families up here.

There's not really much smaller one can start on the topic. I already read everything that's available about the Fade and dreaming a few months ago. There's not very much on that either, but I suppose that can't be helped since dreaming seems to be a normal thing for you lot.

But I mean I think that you should start with a book on how to ask people to bring you contraband. The usual venue for this conversation is usually darker. Filthier.

There isn't a book on that sort of thing, I've checked. I suppose that might be contraband, but it'd be silly to ask someone to find a contraband book about how to request contraband.

Anyway, if it was simple as going to Darktown, I would have done it already.

The Crossroads primarily, but given my relative inexperience with the topic as a whole, a broader understanding on the workings of the Fade and magic within the Fade would be ideal.
