WHAT: After days of silence on their part since the Mage Council made their announcement, the New Order finally follows suit a week or so after their secretive meeting.

NOTES: This announcement takes place days later after the all too secret meeting between Commander Rutherford and the Order. The announcement is backdated to the second week of Wintermarch after the celebration and meeting. Characters are more than allowed to voice their concerns here as follow up statements. Various Templars will answer them if they do, not just Alayre. He's merely the messenger in all this, so feel free to participate however.

Dear Friends & Allies of the Inquisition,

Under the guidance of both Commander Cullen Rutherford & Knight-Commander James Norrington, along with the entirety of the reforged Templar Order, I humbly beseech the Inquisition as whole for several brief announcements that will lay the foundation of a unified Skyhold. Much talk has surfaced as of late regarding the future of the Inquisition and I, Chairman Alayre Sauveterre, am more than pleased to state that the Order has found its place amongst the stalwart many who desire to see Thedas whole.

Just before the turn of the New Year, the Order convened in a meeting not privy to the eyes of the many about the future of our faction. It should come as no surprise that we few who represent the Order here within the Inquisition see need for change amongst our ranks. It's with change at mind that we have decided to allow what was discussed to be known by all here and now. The time for transparency is amongst us and the Order will, from here on out, welcome the opinions of all.

With that said, let me begin:

Our Goal

The Order, first and foremost, are members of the Inquisition. We dedicate ourselves to protecting the people of Thedas from the dangers of magic, Maelficarium, abominations, & darkspawn. With this said, no Templar shall ever raise their blade against any friend or ally of the Inquisition. We strive to unify Skyhold under one banner, not segregate it. Allow for the past misdeeds of yesteryear to linger within the past & embrace a new future for the sake of Thedas.

The Tranquil - the Care and Protection

It's in the Order's best interest to continue with the care of the Tranquil. We created them. We need to be responsible for them. These people are the ones who literally will not defend themselves - and after the horrors of Kirkwall and the White Spire; we will not & cannot abandon our charge. With this in mind, we hereby announce that Nerva Lecuyer was nominated as the Caretaker of the Tranquil. She will be responsible for overseeing their care and those who wish to assist in her efforts are more than welcomed.

The Mages - Abominations, Education, and Partnership

Under the supervision of Templar Maria Hill & Dorian Pavus, the training between Mage and Templar both is scheduled to continue in hopes of improving our ability and readiness against the foes that be. It's in our hope that these trainings will help form a bond between us and that of the Mage Council. We formally wish to announce we'll be working tirelessly to repair the bonds broken by years of tyranny and strife. We embrace this new beginning through these trainings.

In continuation, Knight-Commander James Norrington has called for additional trainings scheduled here at the Hold. All those interested in learning how to defeat nefarious foes such as demons, abominations and blood mages are welcome to join us. We will also be in need of volunteers to assist us with the trainings; Mage, Qun, Elf and Rifters are all welcomed.

Conclusion

The Order is at the disposal of the Inquisition and will not jeopardize the fragile trust of our charges again. We fundamentally understand the dangers we face as a whole, and will not persecute those who mean to aid us. Our foe is Corypheus & all those who will bring despair to Thedas. With this in mind, we pledge our swords to that of the Inquisition.

Let this fellowship of Men, Elf, Dwarf and Qun hold steadfast regardless of our personal allegiance to various factions.

Not long after that, the dark haired Templar is speaking with a pretty blonde French female templar. Who stares at the tiny paper penises. Then smirks. Then laughs.

After this, Cyril, you are going to see Norrington's men with those paper penises attached to their helmets. neatly glossed over with a fine hand.
