You know, I feel it has been too long since I have had a chance to speak with many of you. That is the way when we are all working so much, no? The coming and going makes it so easy to work with people and never truly know them.
( Imagine her, if you will, reclined on a fainting couch, a glass of port lightly held in one hand, a cigarillo balanced between the fingers of the other, and wearing something appropriately luxurious. )
So, I am wondering, what does responsibility mean to you? More what you consider your responsibilities, than the offerings of a dictionary. Understanding one another is key, I hear.
oh noice ty
( A Merchant Prince, and like all Merchant Princes, of some repute. )
I had the privilege of delivering them earlier this year. We are fortunate to have capable sailors in our midst - I am surprised others are not more... receptive to needed talents.
npnp!!
Doesn't help much a lot here don't realize Nascere isn't Tevinter. [ so not only do they have the 'ew, pirates', sometimes they also get 'ew, vints', which holy shit, you should see flint any time that mistake is made in his presence. vane couldn't care near so much, but vane hardly gives half a shit what most people thing besides a small, small few. even then, it's questionable. ]
But we've had a good handful wanting to learn either way. Not enough for the Navy to be what the Inquisition wants, but better. [ eh. it is what it is. as for marisol herself, though - ] Know much about sailing yourself?
no subject
( "are morons," she does not say, even if she feels it keenly, at times. )
I dabble. ( Lightly. What she means is: HELL YEAH SHE DOES, MY DUDE. ) There are few things so liberating as being on the see.
slithers in here late as balls fffff ;;
[ morons, morons abound. a sad fact of life. though, at least in nascere, everyone understood the general way things ran. in kirkwall, everything is entirely different, and as much as charles probably should've adjusted to it by now, it's probably more out of stubbornness that he hasn't. ]
You saw few, I'd say none. If you're looking for some liberation, would could always use more hands on the ships.
NAH don't even worry
( She'll drink some wine to that. )
You'd offer me a place so readily? You've no idea how annoying I can be.
o3o
[ besides, the ship Vane usually takes, the small Tevinter vessel, doesn't have a permanent crew. they take whoever's available if something needs to be done with it. ]
You've no idea how annoying Jack Rackham can be.
