Oh Skies, I think I'm DYING!
[ One might be tempted to chock this up to Myira being overly excited or dramatic about, well, pretty much everything but the panic in her voice is real enough. ]
There's blood! Blood's supposed t'stay inside of you!

Crystal
Where are you? Are you close to the healing tents?
Re: Crystal
Re: Crystal
Re: Crystal
[ A pause. ]
...I can't find a cut.
Re: Crystal
[There's the sound of robes rustling, of her yelling 'Carlos! Damn it, he's gone, FINE, I'll ... handle this...']
Re: Crystal
[ Everyone wants to come to her room to help her, which she's okay with. ]
Re: Crystal
[Feet moving, sounds of someone climbing down steps rapidly, then running then up more stairs.]
Okay! [Breathless] Door unlocked?
Re: Crystal
[ A pause. ]
Oh. Yeah, should be.
[ When the room is entered, Myira is sitting in bed, blanket around her shoulders and looking miserably at the stain of blood on her sheets. It's a room meant for more than one person, but the other beds are all empty--at least for now. ]
Action!
[Footsteps right outside the door.]
Ah, and I'm Mal, by the way.
[Pushing open the door, Mal stands there for a moment in all her diminative glory, sweeping her gaze over the other girl. Her eyes immediately widened.]
Maker's Balls, are you bleeding internally? Is blood coming out of your mouth or ears?
Re: Action!
...'m Myira.
[ Myira goes wide-eyed and shakes her head. ]
Um! No, I think... Uh...
[ She draws her blanket back a little to reveal more blood on her night clothes (something else she's been getting used to), rather conspicuously in the area of her crotch. ]
Re: Action!
So, Myira ... how old are you?
Re: Action!
Humanwise or ravenwise?
Re: Action!
Eeeeeh, let's go humanwise. Pretty sure ravens don't have this problem.
Re: Action!
I think nineteen or twenny.
Re: Action!
Re: Action!
All of 'em, except for a few days here and there.
Re: Action!
[Oh this going to be so, so awkward. So she's going to be looking around for some clean cloths.]
It is ... ah ... where we bleed, once a month, from our wombs.
Re: Action!
[ Myira stares, trying to comprehend what she's hearing. ]
You bleed once a month? Why?
Re: Action!
[Mal shrugs.] Don't know the wheres and hows and whatever, that is Carolus's department. [She moves towards the bed.] We'll have to get the sheets washed and you'll have to wear a rag between your legs for the next few days, and keep changing it out.
Re: Action!
[ Myira grumbles and flops back into her bed for a moment, all flounce and annoyance. ]
How am I supposed to hold a rag twixt my legs? With my hand?
Re: Action!
[Mal finds a water basin, and magically heats it.]
No, you have another cloth around your waist, and you tie the ends to that. Sort of like ...really uncomfortable underclothes.
Re: Action!
What's chocolate? And that sounds stupid. This whole thing is stupid. Why are human girls stuck like this? Skies, what human god thought this was a good idea?
Re: Action!
[Mal fixed up two rags as she had been talking about, before she snorted.]
Pretty sure that's just how we were made.
Re: Action!
[ Myira blinks and reaches out to take the ah, remedy to her issue. ]
Well that's stupid. Who went an' made humans like that. The Skies didn't make ravens anythin' like that.
Re: Action!
[She paused for a moment, before she snorted.]
Like I said, there's some religious thoughts on the matter. I really just think it's how we're built.

[ Probably an exaggeration but Myira feels that she's entitled to be a bit dramatic. ]

Have you been stabbed?
no subject
...Kinda.
[ She grumbles. ]
I feel all achey. My belly hurts.

I think I know what ails you. Hot tea might bring you some relief.
