Some of you may know that Sam recently left Kirkwall to reunite with his family. I'm very supportive of this idea but I was unable to go with him and...

I can't sleep in his house anymore. It's very lonely and I've always thrived with people around. I think this means it's time for me to move back to the Gallows, at least for now.

I could use some people to help me move some of my supplies. Anyone willing to help out?

Then after I'm moved in I was thinking of finding a way to distract myself. Maybe some drinks? As always, I could use some good company while I do that and I find that nearly all of us in the Inquisition qualify.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, too, but are you sure about leaving his house? He might come back some day.

Sam is more than a friend to me. He's my lover. [The statement is said carefully because he doesn't want to sound defensive or hostile. It's more of a friendly correction than offense.]

And I promised him I would look after the house so I'll still tend to it and it makes a good workshop.

It's just too quiet to sleep here.

The truth is that I still have things to do here.

I'll probably join him when I can spare the time. And there are always explicit letters and these crystals when needed.

Well then. Where is Sam's house? I can come as soon as you're ready to start, I suppose. As long as you're sure this is what you want.

It was sad to hear that Sam has left. ( she didn't know him well, honestly but their brief time as roommates in nevarra had been pleasant. he seemed an easily likable man. )

If needed, I can help as well. I am often in the city during the days to help out in the Alienage. As for distraction, well... I know a few good places. I am not much of a drinker but there is also always songs to learn or sing that I can offer.

You would like to help? ( her voice is only half-surprised-- mostly she just sounds so very, very pleased. ) Of course, I mean-- that would be lovely. There is always work to be done and another pair of hands would be of so much help.

Yeah! I should have been more involved from the start. I can do a lot of manual labor if it's needed. Growing up Dalish at least has that advantage.

I might also be able to put my tinkering skills to use? When I was young, I experimented with a water filtration system for the clan... maybe I can see about building something like that for people in the Alienage too?

The fact that he was able to reunite with his family is a good thing, so I'm trying not to be too sad about it. Still, thank you, Prompto.

I could count your freckles. I don't think I could ever get bored of that. [But he isn't going to keep pretending that's all he wants to do all day.]

I do! And the fact that he was able to see his family again is astounding, considering that wouldn't have been possible before the rebellion. I'll probably join him when I have some downtime.

Ohh, where did you move to? Also, we could absolutely use the cart and an extra pair of hands.

Right, because he's a mage. That still baffles me, that people weren't allowed to see their families because of the way they were born.

We're in Lowtown, sort of near the docks? It's a nice place.

Exactly! He talks about his aunt all of the time. I'm thrilled he's able to go see her. There so much he can do now that he couldn't before. As someone who loves him, I've been trying to focus on that.
