Commander wanted to know who would accept different types of treatment, specifically, so non-magical medicines versus magic, and then whether on top of that whether or not spirit healing was alright. Magic seems like a tense kinda subject around these parts, so rather than putting people in situations where they might be pushed to have a type of treatment they don't want and make sure there's adequate staffing, I'd guess. I'd personally rather be treated with medicine I understand than magic.
