Forgive me the whimsical nature of the topic, if you would, Inquisition.
I—
( I would rather ignore this topic forever and pretend Alistair said nothing, but it's too late for that. )
I wondered if any of you might be familiar with the works of Jules Palourde. A series has been... recommended as something that might be of interest, but I've my doubts about the source of the recommendation. ( ALISTAIR. WARDEN. )
Any insights that might be offered about the Knight's Code series would be greatly appreciated. You've my thanks in advance.

[ He doesn't need anyone to be able to see him, via the crystals, to make a dramatic fist. Perhaps she can imagine it. ]

( Guess how devastated she sounds. She is imagining the clenched fist, and also Alistair posing with one knee on the ground, backlit by the sun, almost set. It all just fits together. )
I had been informed of a bakery that makes excellent pastries. I suppose that will no longer be of interest.

( She considers. ) Not knowing the quality of the text, I am hesitant to suggest it.... but I must confess my curiosity.
( Or maybe she will regret this, rapidly. ) I have been advised the are some copies in the Gallows library.

Then I will let you know if it's worth your time.
[ He grins and nods ] In the library eh? I will hope they have copies for the lending.

The... whole court?
( Maker she hopes Alistair is wrong. )

Might've read some of them on the road. On those long cold nights.
You know the ones.

Where tales of honour and battle help steel oneself for the days ahead?
no subject
Warn a bloke, tea went down the wrong way. Where's the honour in that? Nah, these were for after the long day, when you wanted a bit of relaxing after it all, especially when you were...lonesome. Think that's the word.

Didn't reckon knights would have a lot of time to read, even about morals or anything.

( Faux scandalised, etc. ) I'd hate for it to be said that I did anything to compromise your virtuous nature.

Oh, they're that kind of book. Now we definitely have to read them. That way I can ask you about any particular details I'm not familiar with.
