...there are two clans represented, Dahlasanor and Ashara. [She leaves out Sabrae and Velanna's clan for the sake of not rubbing salt in the wound.]

Yes, [her smile can be heard,] the proper in charge. They and the First are often the only mages in the clan, but there are exceptions. I believe Ashara has quite a few.

Ah... this I don't know. You would have to ask Beleth. Dahlasanor has only the two, but no children have been born to us for a long time.

The majority of our clan was slain around twenty years ago, and I think... many children were lost. I wasn't born yet, and am currently the youngest of my clan.

[She hesitates, then adds,]

There are so few of us that reproducing would become unfavorable very quickly. But we are hoping to reconcile our population with Ashara's.

I thought maybe the healers could help you, if it were the other thing. There are so many here.

( she puts it out there, just in case. maybe it'll be circled back to, later? if it isn't as easy as they hope? it seems like a little thing for the inquisition to allow their healers to do, in exchange for this aid. )

I'd like to think so, being among the healers myself. But neither that nor my herbalism can magick more elves out of nowhere, which is why allying with Ashara will be nice.

...but the healers here are good. They've helped me greatly.

The most recent members came from a city and from a clan even more destroyed than ours. They're both women, so there was some hope they'd take to one of the Halaan brothers.

Instead they chose each other.
