An Innocuous question

FORM: Sending crystal
SENDER: Beleth Ashara
RECIPIENT: Everyone
WHAT: Beleth has questions about dragons, for science. You don't want to get in the way of science, do you?
WHEN: Now
WHERE: Everywhere
NOTES: yeah no she definitely has a dragon

[ Beleth's voice sounds rather harried and distracted, and under the sound of her voice, there's another noise that sounds suspiciously like a hissing growl. ]

Ah--Hello, I hope it's alright to ask, but I have a request. I've recently begun trying to study dragons, and there doesn't seem to be much information on them in the library. Which isn't surprising, since dragons have only recently begun to show up in Thedas again, after a prolonged absence.

I was hoping that someone in the Inquisition might have an idea where I can find more information, or might have the information themselves. [ There's a quiet 'ow!' and disgruntled noises before Beleth begins speaking again. ]

...To clarify, I'm not looking for information regarding fighting them. There's plenty of information on that particular subject. I was hoping more for information of a more...mundane variety. Their age cycle, day-to-day lives, eating habits, things like that.

If you know where I might find anything speaking on subjects of that nature, I would appreciate hearing about it. Thank you for listening.

Where did you find that dragon?

[Welp. Guess who will be spending most of his time going out seeking his own? This guy.]

I know plenty about their kind. The study of dragons has long been an interest of mine.

But what I heard... as someone who knows dragons... I know that sound. I know it.

[Anyway, one thing at a time.]

I can tell you anything you want to know. What are you most curious about? Young dragons in particular will eat a lot, and it's essential that they train their hunting instincts. How it'll develop... that will depend on whether it's male or female...

[That's... definitely the best way to describe Kain. Intense.]

Ah, good to know. Well, dragons really need a lot of room to roam... they need to be able to fight a variety of different opponents, so they hone their skills effectively. When they're young, they'll need a lot of help, you'll want to bring him plenty of meat, as a mother would do. But then you should start introducing... small creatures for him to begin learning with.

You're welcome, and... good luck. If there's more I can do, let me know. I'll be curious to hear more about this, perhaps even to see this young creature sometime.

[He's utterly fascinated by this, and definitely wondering how this is even possible. He'd once tried as a young boy to keep a dragonling for a pet and well... it hadn't ended up too well, overall.]
