This godless Inquistion shan't do.
[ It's not often that the former Knight-Commander speaks via sending crystal, but today he makes an exception. The message Alayre carries is a dire one. ]
Despite our progress thus far as a sustainable military force, I believe now is the time to mention the lack of faith that many our fellow soldiers lack.
Are we not acting upon the Maker's Will? Are we not representatives of Andraste's might as well?
While we indeed call ourselves The Inqusition, I don't believe many of us fully understand the weight that such a title holds if we're not intune with our faith in a greater good.
[ He's quite aware that this message may irk a few people but he's trying to appeal to those willing to make peace with the Maker and renew their faith. Of course many horrible things have been done in Andraste's name and he condemns them. However, he shan't condemn all of his faith as well. ]
Far too many of us shun the teachings that the Chantry provides and just as many make a mockery of Andraste's plight. Little do any of us realize that it will be our faith to see us through the dark times that shall come. This is why I come to you now in concern, allies and friends. I see that our faith lacks the vigor it needs to carry us through.
( ooc: feel free to threadjack and converse! )

Dorian laughs, a little, simultaneously disbelieving and genuine. ]
If you don't see Andraste's work in a coming together of all kinds of persons and faiths towards a common cause, then I hardly know what to tell you.
Except to say that Val Royeux, if you're lost, is that way.

You should probably say the opposite of whatever you actually believe, Master Pavus, unless you already are.

Shall I give it a try?
[ Context: definitely here, and miserable for it. ]
Something along the lines of: I agree, Ser Templar, let's just give up, push the lot down the mountain, only the southern Chantry-approved devout could possibly band together to shelter the needy, explode deposits of red lyrium, rescue kittens in trees, and stop Corypheus. The Herald of Andraste herself would be sickened -- sickened! -- at the unholy state of things today. Magister Pavus, signing off.
