I was once of Riftwatch, an Ambassador when we were a branch of the Inquisition and first became Riftwatch. Once I returned to the Inquisition I was vocal on the matter of freedoms for elves, mages and Rifters, and struggled to effectively support those ends without being dismissed as a radical.
Such a person rendered Tranquil and sent to Riftwatch would do more to undermine those causes and the morale of some of their most passionate supporters than my execution.
