There isn't a way to part them, not that I've ever heard and apparently no one else in the mage council has either. Once you invite a spirit into you, that's it. There's no separation, except with death. Which is sadly not an option. Fucking hell, we have enough fractures without him adding to it. And you know there's going to be a backlash against mages, since everyone assumes we'd support that piece of shit even though it's far from the truth. Maybe something official will deter that, but the way people are riled up? I honestly don't know.
