I find books to be a touch less aggravating than people can be. And books won't run me out of town for being a stranger or the wrong sort of person or the wrong sort of species. So for now, safety and education is my watchword.

Maybe after I feel a touch more comfortable with how to interact with these people... Then I'll go looking for adventure.
