What's a reasonable amount of time to stay angry with someone?
[ There is a fairly obvious difference between Alistair's I have a serious question voice and I am trying to cause trouble voice, for those who know him, but in this case his tone falls somewhere between the two. ]
Obviously it depends on what they've done to make you angry, so let's talk about the full range. How long can I stay angry with someone for borrowing my sword without permission before I'm unreasonable?
Or what if they left everyone I cared about to die?
Just for discussion's sake.

Also, I have an assassin.
( She needs to stop offering to have Guilfoyle murder whoever upsets her friends. For starters, he's in the Dales right now and it would be a logistical nightmare. )

Do you. Does he offer a discount for remorseless sword thieves?

He offers what I tell him to offer. You remember the fellow, from my home; very friendly.
( In the way that remote cliff-faces overlooking disaster areas are very friendly, if he actually does recollect Felix Guilfoyle, the steward who had overseen the clusterfuck that was visiting the Vauquelin estate. )

This explains so much.

Really, though. No one gets to tell you when you stop being angry.

[ This is all his own fault—being furious but unwilling to actually talk about it with anyone here, so it's left to leak out in pissy comments and then get swept under a rug made of shitty jokes. There is so much piss and shit that it's really no wonder Oghren showed up. ]
Do you mind if I come by tomorrow? I'll bring you and Kieran something.

( the only exception to her warden ban. nevermind that if anyone asks she says no exceptions. she's an aristocrat and a twenty-three year old woman and reserves the right to view consistency and transparency as other people's obligations. )

In that case, I won't bring you anything.
