What's an acceptable means of having fun? I mean... with someone else. Someone with whom you're...

What are some good ways to spend time with a significant other? [He's allowed to call her that now, right?? Ugh he is so new to this and a bit in over his head already. But he wants to start doing things together as boyfriend and girlfriend, so... now he needs to figure out what exactly to do.] I'd be curious to hear any suggestions.

I'd certainly be that inclined. I think she'd enjoy it at times, too, but I don't want it to be the only thing we do together... But things we both enjoy... hm, I'll try to consider that...

What else does she like to do? Might even be an opportunity for you to find a new hobby.

Well... She's very fond of books. Sometimes, I can barely pry her away from the library.

Huh. Reading's a little hard to do together unless one of you likes to do it aloud. But if there's some book in particular she's looking for she can't find in the library, you might...go hunt it out together? Seems like a fun idea to me, anyway.

Though--take all this with a grain of salt; everything I've ever done for fun with someone I'm interested in that way has to look innocent in public. [There's a certain humor to how he says that--Circle mages don't really "date," after all.]

I figured that might be rather difficult, although it does make it somewhat easy to pick out gifts for her. Hm... hunting down anything is always a fun pursuit.

Well... Yes. Yes, of course. I wouldn't ever force her to do something she found uncomfortable in some way. I'll be sure to be careful about that.

[He realizes only after Kain replies how that sounded.]

Simply--everything I'd do had to be something two friends could do together; if you can be open about being with her, it might lead to more possibilities. I haven't thought much about what they might be.

Ah, I think I better understand what you mean. We've done many things together in the past as friends, so... now... well... Now, we can still do those same things, can't we?

We have a very strong friendship, yes... it took a while to become something more, but I'm glad that it has.
