WHAT: Kain got himself injured and has been really out of it this month. Now he's come to! And he's taking the last step before he confess something to someone.

[Kain sounds very weary, just a bit out of it somehow. Though at least he's finally up for using the crystal, for the first time in a good while. It worked well enough last time he had something nagging at his mind, so why not now? It's technically related, since he figured out what he has to do, but... it's not going to be easy.]

If there was something you had to tell someone, and you weren't sure how to approach it... where would you even start? I'm not sure if I... [He trails off, letting that whole train of thought go, not having any way to complete it. He's had too much time to think, lately.]

I'm getting far too restless here... if anyone can manage to help me sneak out of this place, I'll owe you.

And... you as well, Inessa. I'm just... [He gasps for air a bit, ow ow ow.] ...so bored... [It was different when he was mostly-unconscious, too out of it to complain. But this stage where he's alert but not ready to do much is... frustrating.]

If it will aid, we will visit. I suppose I can find some tomes from the library that may pique your interest. And I can update you on current events.

The pain could be a problem as well, but I'm accustomed to pain, it's... an old friend. I can handle that part.

[But the dull hours of being stuck here, idle, that's just insurmountable.]

[He generally gets along with the guy, in every other situation that doesn't involve injuries, anyway... so he does feel bad on some level.]

Little wonder, as you're a taxing patient. Try some restraint, for his sake as well.

[Not when he's just barely healed enough to be mostly-conscious, and yet not enough to get out and about. It was all so much easier on everyone when he was totally out of it and sleeping all the time.]
