WHAT: Beleth is looking for help for two different jobs that are not only completely legal but in no way of dubious nature.
WHEN: Just after her return from Morrigan's eluvian plot.
WHERE: Skyhold
NOTES: This is a network post related to Beleth's player plot, but this isn't mandatory for those who are participating, and it's open to people beyond those participating. This is also not the plot proper, just setting up for it. There will be a section for action instead of notes.

First Notice:


Attn: Dalish of Skyhold

I have been in contact with a Dalish clan in the Ylenn Basin, about the acquisition of resources for their clan.
Due to recent events and the inherent limit of written communication it has become necessary to go to the clan directly to
speak to their Keeper about the acquisition of these resources. As the road is quite dangerous these days, and as I know many
of us are missing our clans, I thought that it would be a good idea for several of us to go together and visit the clan in person.
If you would like to go with me, just let me know. I'll be in the barn in the evenings.

Second Notice:


Services Requested for Aid in Transportation

I have acquired valuable resources that I will be planning on transporting to a Dalish clan in the Ylenn Basin once I have
managed to work out a few minor issues. Once these are dealt with, I will still require aid in safely transporting these resources to
their intended location with minimal hassle. As such, I am requesting people who are skilled in combat against bandits, as well as
those generally skilled in moving cargo.

Please note that these resources will be accrued in Val Royeux, and then transported to the Ylenn Basin. I have heard less
than complimentary tales about the guards of Val Royeux, and their treatment of elves, and the Dalish in particular. As such, I would
generally prefer that those aiding me are not elvish in appearance, to try to avoid any more undue hassle than utterly necessary.

Additionally, please note that these resources, my acquisition of them, and the transportation thereof have not involved any resources from
the Inquisition, does not involve any missions regarding the Inquisition, and if you choose to participate, will not reflect on your job within the
Inquisition. You will, regardless, be compensated for your aid.

[He doesn't reply to her on the notice board. Instead, he seeks her out directly. When he sees her he has a paper folded flower. He usually puts notes and things inside of his paper flowers, if she has the time to unfold this one it's a little drawing of her standing heroically on a hill that says 'Beleth to the rescue!' It's definitely meant to make her laugh more than to tease her and the drawing is flattering if a little cartoonish.

He sits next to her and waits for her give him her attention before he hands it to her.]

I want to go with you when you leave.

[ She's pleased when Cyril arrives at the barn, and waits to speak to him until he sits down. But he gets her attention as soon as he does so, taking the flower and blinking at it. She unfolds it carefully, then stares at the image for several seconds. But his drawing succeeds, and Beleth laughs at the image, looking amused by the doodle of her. She shakes her head, still grinning, as she folds it up and sticks it in her pocket. ]

I'm honored to go down in history in such a sterling manner. Of course you can come, lethallin. But--ah. There's something I should tell you.

[ She pauses, fidgeting with her scarf. ]

I want to go to the Keeper because there are alienage elves in Val Royeux who want to join the People. But I need to find a clan for them. I plan to try to convince the Keeper to let them join.

[samahl]

[Cyril nods at that and accepts the idea. He can see the logic in it.]

The fact that you are a Keeper's daughter should come in handy here then? And it will be good to have more of the people with you to help convince them.

Korrin will be coming, as well. She's obviously good at working with Dalish, even Merrick likes her. And we need someone who can deal with close combat, if anything risky happens on the road.

[ She wrinkles her nose. ]

But yes, I've been using my status as the Keeper's daughter to pull a few strings. I just hope she doesn't find out, or she'll start telling me that I ought to act like one before I get the perks of one.

Your mother should be proud of you. Anything else she says would be inaccurate.

[ Beleth snorts, a wry look on her face. ]

When has she ever been proud of me? When have I ever done anything to deserve it?

[samahl]

Well, I'm proud of you.

[arlathvhen]

Well, what have I done to deserve that?

[samahl]

You came here. You're learning a bunch of new skills. Back home you traded well and kept the peace. [A pause.] You helped Merrick figure out things about himself.

[arlathvhen]

Like what, that he likes qunari?

[ That was probably unworthy, and she flinches a little after she says it. Not that she's JEALOUS. ]

--But thank you, Cyril. You are very kind.

[samahl]

It's all right. I understand. [And come on, she knows that he understands the jealousy. But he means to focus on what he meant.]

And no, you helped him figure out that he isn't broken.
